More people like this.

Here is a link to a reddit post (Reddit is a popular, forum-like site with many different sub-categories, or subreddits). It's posted by someone who goes by Tomble.

Tomble recently received one of those scam emails about verifying your account on Paypal. By shear luck, he managed to get into the scammer's site (Which, as it turns out, was not owned by the scammers and was phished from someone else), delete some of the information, and called the people who had already submitted credit card info. He also deactivated the site so no one else could use it.

It seems like not enough people are away of email scams. Make sure if you know anyone who you think might fall for something like this or isn't as tech savvy or is new to the internet, that you tell them about these emails.
